High School Courses

students in science labThere is a fifteen (15) student minimum for each academic course. If the minimum is not met, students will be notified around June 15, 2020, and a full tuition refund will be made.

Schedule

  • June 22–August 5: High School Summer School
    • June 22: 7:30 a.m. face-to-face orientation; classes to follow
    • June 22: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Online Learning orientation meeting (required)
    • June 22–July 14: First Semester 
    • July 2: (July 4) Holiday - No School
  • July 15–August 5: Second Semester
    • SOL Review Session: Date to be scheduled by teacher
    • August 3–4: SOL Testing
    • August 5: Final Exams
    • August 6: 5:30 p.m. Graduation

 English for Speakers of Other Languages - ESOL:

This summer course provides intensive English language development specifically designed for English learner (EL) students. In order to assist students with the English language acquisition process, the teacher will bring ELs of diverse languages and cultures together in a classroom setting for whole-group instruction. The primary goals of this course are to help students understand, read, write, and speak English in order to communicate in social settings and to succeed academically.
